Back in the late 90s when Dumaine Gang started parading they were lucky to get a few dozen celebrants to come to their second lines. After nearly 30 years of their rolling street parties cascading through Treme, they now see thousands of New Orleanians take to the asphalt for one of the best parties of the season.
