Once upon a time the grocery stores in New Orleans all had Coffee Partner on their shelves. If I recall, it was packaged pure ground chicory and was used to enhance the flavor of ordinary to below average coffee beans.
It has now disappeared. It’s no longer at Canseco’s, Rouse’s, Robert’s or any of our normal haunts.
Who remembers Coffee Partner?
