Festivals Acadiens et Créoles is one of the finest jamborees in a state filled with the best parties in the entire US.

It’s an embarrasment of riches if you have a passing interest in the world of Cajun and Creole culture with scores of bands, dozens of regional food vendors and thousands of hard-partying Louisianans from across the Ark-La-Tex area.

The festival began in 1974 and does not charge admission.

Festivals Acadiens et Créoles
Friday October 13–Sunday October 15, 2023
Girard Park, 500 Girard Park Dr, Lafayette, LA 70503

The food on offer is staggering in variety and deliciousness but you would be wise to visit the Bon Creole Lunch House booth. It’s the cream of the crop although there are several contenders that make runs at this heavyweight outfit from New Iberia.
