We rolled down to Armstrong Park at lunchtime to take in the 2023 Original Four Social Aid and Pleasure Club second line. Rival s&p Black Men of Labor rolled at the same time but we know where our priorities lie. This is what we saw:

Due to the byzantine nature of the walking map, I exhausted Google’s 10 turn limit on their ‘build your own’ mapping feature. As you reach the end of my provided turns please make your way to the corner of Washington and LaSalle where the second line will disband. Hope to see y’all out.
Oh, and Black Men of Labor will be rolling opposite Original Four but we will not be attending.

Mr Picou was born on this day in 1878. His old barroom still stands in Treme near Fatma’s Cozy Corner but it is no longer in use by the Picou family.
